My Sister the Writer

My sister Kendra is getting ready to go to graduate school in Iowa to learn how to be a professional writer.
She is starting to write a novel about the relationship between women and their hair. Her new blog can be found at http://twentyought.blogspot.com/.

The working title is "Until it Grows Back." I have suggested that she change the title to one of the following:
  • Blood, Sweat, & Shears
  • Deb on Hair
  • Hair Apparent
  • Hair Majesty
  • Hair Me Out
  • Hair to Please You
  • Hair to Stay
  • Hair Today
  • Hair We Are
  • Just Cut Loose
  • Shears to YouThe Final Cut
  • The Hairport
  • Upper Cuts
And my personal favorite: Mane Attraction.

Bonus points for anyone else that wants to contribute.

Gavin, as I said in my comment to Kendra, your family is taking blogging (web log) by storm! Her first chapter is engaging! I look forward to reading more. :)

I think you should be ashamed of your suggestions! Mane Attraction. I shake my head at you! :p

I don't have any suggestions for a title (I'm actually quite poor with naming things), but visually I'm thinking of the loose bits of hair that fall on the floor. The discarded bits of hair. Maybe something can be made up of that?

"Turn Your Head and Coif"
-John (we are going for the worst possible title, right?)

There is this *really classy* salon (where is the sarcasm font when I need it?) on the outskirts of Nashville, in the "cunchree" (country). Anyway, it's named Hairport and I get the heeby jeebies just thinking about having my hair cut there!

I think Gavin has a bit of "midwest humor" in him. It reminds me of all the names of the hair places that line Magnolia like "The best Little Hair House" and "Hair today, gone tomorrow." Actually, I was listening to this book in the car and this famous writer told this boy that to start writing he should notice stuff on the road--like hair salons always have great names. Ever since I read that, I've noticed the places
